Millennium Machines Milo V2.0 is the next generation of the open-source desktop CNC mill originally inspired by the OpenBuilds MiniMill. V2.0 features a larger work area, redesigned plates and HOI spindle mounts, easier tramming, magnetic way covers and self-adjusting anti-backlash nuts.
This product combines the two LDO kits required for the 220V version:
- Milo V2.0 Base Kit 220V – LDO-MILO2-BASE220, EAN 6975415155840
- Milo V2.0 Universal Electronics Box – LDO-MILO2-UEB, EAN 6975415155833
Milo V2.0 Base Kit 220V
The base kit contains LDO's mechanical hardware, frame and motion parts, CNC-machined components, motors and a 220V spindle for Milo V2.0. Milo uses a moving-table X-axis and is designed for machining aluminium as well as composites, wood and plastics.
The V2.0 design supports leadscrew or ballscrew configurations and different spindle mounts. Always follow the current official BOM and build manual for your selected configuration.
Universal Electronics Box (UEB)
The UEB is Millennium Machines' modular DIN-rail electronics cabinet for Milo V2.0. It brings the machine controller, power supply, VFD, emergency stop and electrical distribution components together in a separate enclosure. This UEB package is included with the product and does not need to be purchased separately.
Important: printed parts are not included
The red and black 3D-printed parts shown in the product images are not included. STL files and print lists are available free of charge from the official GitHub projects. The current BOM specifies approximately 4kg of ABS/ASA for Milo plus approximately 2kg of ABS/ASA and optional TPU for the UEB.
This is an advanced DIY project and must be assembled, wired, configured and checked before use. The UEB operates with 220V mains voltage. Use a qualified professional for mains-voltage work if you do not have the necessary skills. Cutting tools, stock material, the CASA enclosure and other accessories are not included.
