OTTOeject MK1 is an open-source print automation system designed by OTTOMAT3D and manufactured as a hardware kit by LDO Motors. When a print finishes, the system lifts the build plate with the part, stores it in the rack and loads a clean plate into the printer. OTTOengine can then continue the print queue without a manual plate change between each job.

Tested printers
The current officially tested list includes Bambu Lab A1, P1P, P1S and X1C; Prusa MK3/S/+, MK4/S and CORE One; Creality K1C and Ender 3 V3; Flashforge AD5X and 5M Pro; Elegoo Centauri Carbon; and Voron Switchwire. OTTOMAT3D continues to expand compatibility. Always check the latest list and instructions for your specific printer before installation.
Hardware kit contents
- BIGTREETECH SKR Pico controller
- 3 LDO stepper motors and power supply
- Aluminium extrusions, linear rail, lead screw, rods and bearings
- GT2 belts, pulleys, linear motion components and cable chains
- Electronics, wiring, endstop, brackets, fasteners and additional hardware according to LDO's checklist
Important before ordering
OTTOeject is supplied as a DIY hardware kit. The purple 3D-printed parts shown in the example images are not included. The 3D printer, build plates and printed objects are also not included. Assembly, printer-specific adaptation, configuration and suitable spare build plates are required before the system can be used.
